…..before you wreck yourself
Let me ask you something-do you stretch?
I mean sure, you have your pre/post workout routine (but lets be honest, how many of you actually carve out time for that?), but do you go through the same old motion, stretching and stretching but things still hurt?
Or do you try to force yourself into some of those impossible positions in yoga just because your neighbor is doing it and you don’t want to be the odd man (or woman) out so you continue to push, but not really knowing just what you’re doing?
Do you want to learn how to effectively move your body and efficiently “stretch” it? Or in some cases, work on strengthening instead of stretching? (Because if you stretch and stretch something but it still hurts, it may not need to be stretched, it may need to be strengthened).

This 4 week series will work from the ground up as we tackle the common problems that plague so many of us, such as plantar fasciitis, tight calves, knee problems, sciatica, tight hips, poor posture, low back pain, shoulder problems, carpal tunnel, tendinitis, migraines and more! Each class will be dedicated to a specific area as well as the problems that are associated with it. Week 1 is all about the feet and legs, week 2 we tackle the hips and glutes, week 3 we work on the back and core (because you can’t have a strong back without a strong core!) and week 4 is all those lovely spots of the upper body that cause pain and dysfunction-the head, neck and shoulders.
“But I already stretch!”

Incorporating several different modalities, you will learn how to identify those ‘body blind spots’, and get much more precise with your own troubleshooting. You’ll realize that it’s not just your shoulder that’s tight, but it’s a locked up infraspinatus that is causing that shoulder impingement that is ruining your overhead squats in the gym. And then you’ll learn how to roll out the infraspinatus with a set of Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls.
You’ll learn the difference between carpal tunnel and numbness from a compression in the brachial plexus.
You’ll feel just how great it feels to ditch your foam rollers, massage sticks, lacrosse balls and all of those other mobility tools for therapy balls, or even just your own body weight.
“But I don’t know how to stretch!”
