Have you met Naomi?
Naomi came to us in late 2019 as a student intern while she was completing her massage therapy program through Carnegie Institute in Troy, and she has been with us ever since.
After passing her board exam, she officially joined the staff as a Licensed Massage Therapist in February 2020.
We’ll let Naomi tell you in her own words a little more about herself….
I graduated from Carnegie Institute in June of 2019 and am a licensed massage therapist in Michigan. For as long as I can remember, I have been enthusiastic about massage. Family get-togethers or vacations came, and there I was, massaging my family or friends. Thus, with my passion for massages, I decided to pursue it as a career. The concept of helping someone through the power of my hands motivates and continues to inspire me to constantly learn and seek ways to bring relief to everyone I encounter. I was actually deciding between enrolling in massage school or pursuing a career as a physical therapist and I am so happy with my choice to do massage!
My goal as a massage therapist is to help my clients relax and make their life more manageable in a world where everything and everyone is on the fast lane. I want to listen to my client’s needs and focus on what their body is telling me.
Besides massage, my next favorite thing is spending time with my family. I come from a big family (2 brothers and four sisters), and I got married to my wonderful husband in 2022, so on my days off, I get to relax and enjoy my time with them. I also love trying new restaurants, and I am always looking for my next adventure and a new book to read!
Clients have loved Naomi for her relaxing, therapeutic work, deep tissue skills (offering up to a 2-hour massage session), calm and caring demeanor, attention to detail, and always putting the clients’ needs first.
Naomi also started offering fascial stretching in 2021, and we are thrilled to help her expand her offerings to our clients. We would love to invite you to book a session with Naomi and take a time out from life!
In Good Hands,
Rebecca Tamm, LMT
